Nstem Gift Cards
National STEM Honors Society (NSTEM) had me work on gift cards for their shop. The goal being to give the vibes of STEM while being inviting to customers. I made gear, mathematics symbols, and the nuclear model graphics for the red one- adding a little bow for a gift vibe. For the blue one I really wanted to do something spacy- inspired by some gift card references on pinterest. I tried to include different taglines for each of them to make each gift card stick out and feel uniquely designed.
Tough SpotTough Spot is a project marketing cleaning products towards men. The product line contains bar soap, hand sanitiser, dish soap, and all purpose cleaner. Initally cleaning was for house-wives and generally women, however with the rise of dual-income houses and gender equality, men are stepping up to the plate in household chores. My design was based in gender-neutral themes with a thick/ tougher font. In the 21st century gender idenity is on a person-to-person basis and is not binary. More and more men are coming into their feminity without it takiing away from their idenities as men, thus I tried to market to a more gender-neutral crowd of men to reach a wider demographic.
Blackbird Vineyard
Blackbird Vineyards was a project where I designed boxed organic wine of red, white, and rose. Blackbird Vineyards is for a younger demographic (30s or younger) or for those who are not serious wine drinkers. The design is illustrative and fun while also having the sophisticated, fancy look that non-experienced drinkers may associate wine with.
Dada Booklet
This booklet quotes excerpts from Tristan Taza’s text. I tried to capture dadaism by making each page unique to the excerpt I chose- making every page an unexpecting pattern and it’s own separate entity in its own right. The only connecting pattern is their connection and encapsulation to dadaism- for dada has no rules , form, or expectations. It is uncoordinated and anti-conformatory which truly inspired me during my design process.
Busy Bees Informational Pamphlet
This pamhlet design takes readers through an excerpt from wikapedia explaining the history of beekeeping. I wanted the design to be fun whie realting to the texts on each page so I created different graphics like hives, bees, honey, jars, beekeepers,and smokers. These graphics were occasionaly reused as needs to tie the pamphelt together.
