Magical Girl Cubical

Magical Girl Cubical is one of the two original stories I am currently working on, the first two images are ink and paper, and the second two are printed pink and teal on the rizo printer. It’s a comic series about serveral overworked, underpiad, and broke mid-twentys workers who (for one reason or another) sign a mysterious contract hoping to turn their lives around. Unbeknowst to them they signed up to become super-human magical girls (and guys). With the power of their high tech magical office pens they fight for the good of the world (and their mega-corp). Will they ever return to normal humans? Will they harness their magic for not just their company but the whole world? Will they ever get that raise? More coming soon!



The Heir’s Diary

 The Heir’s Diary is a fantasy based comic I have personally worked on for 11 years (as of 2026). In this world I’ve created my own pantheon, magic system, religious based practices, characters, species, and cultural based traditions. This comic was printed on rizo using red and brown. On the front cover you will find our sibling duo, Thalia and Henry. Backcover includes Lisa and other characters that I hope to introduce. In this issue our hero’s Thalia and Henry are running in a war-torn area where they, by coincidence, meet Thalia’s 
ex-girlfriend Lisa. But something isn’t quite right, what will become of them after dark secrets are untold?


Rabbit Anatomy

Rabbit Anatomy is an indie film company that comissioned me to create their logo. The Creators of the company wanted to combine their initials A and R in a creative and horrific look. For Rabbit anatomy I designed their company logo and brand idenity- going through several rounds of critiques, color palette changes, and discussions on the logo piece. 


The Most Beautiful face

This was a project for my oil painting 1 class where we had to work with only the colors brown, white, blue, and black. Using this project I took it as an excuse to show my appriciation for my long term boyfriend, Shane. Despite our many years together, he has gotten me flowers for every “month-anniversary” since 2023 and every 11th I receive a new boquet of flowers. Another fact about my boyfriend is he does not like photos of himself. So instead of his face I used the beautiful flowers of that month that I recieved, because to me he is so beautiful and everytime I look at him I think of all the wonderful dates, memories, and flowers I’ve had the honor of enjoying over the years. This painting was present in the Yeh Art Gallery at St. Johns during the spring 2025 student show


My Morning Routine


This is an inked comic from my Comics and Zines class where we were tasked to make a small action into a single page comic with no speech bubbles. The goal was to commuicate a story with expressive language. 
       

Skull Oil Study
This is an oil study of a skull in my oil painting 1 class where I had to use only black and white to get an understanding of shadows and grayscale value. This painting was present in the Yeh Art Gallery at St. Johns during the spring 2025 student show
            

Sadness and Madness

This series was inspired by the french artistic movement of fauvism, a method of using bold, nonnatural colors, and broad strokes. I chose clowns as my muse of choice because the fun makeup allows for interesting shadows and non-natural face colors. In photoshop I pushed their expressions to the maximum to play into the broad strokes of fauvism and to make the paintings feel weird/ uncanny 



Nstem Gift Cards
National STEM Honors Society (NSTEM) had me work on gift cards for their shop. The goal being to give the vibes of STEM while being inviting to customers. I made gear, mathematics symbols, and the nuclear model graphics for the red one- adding a little bow for a gift vibe. For the blue one I really wanted to do something spacy- inspired by some gift card references on pinterest. I tried to include different taglines for each of them to make each gift card stick out and feel uniquely designed.  


NSTEM Flyer Advertisments
National STEM Honors Society (NSTEM) had me work on April themed posters to advertise upcoming deals for online orders. I chose Earth Day as it’s a popular holiday in April that is STEM related! I draw the flower graphic on paper then scanned it into photoshop, changing the colors to a red and green that associated with the NSTEM brand. The yellow in the font is also associated with the brand- I wanted to make the tagline bold to draw in deals for customers and got rid of the fill for the other statements to add to the “voidness” of space

Tough SpotTough Spot is a project marketing cleaning products towards men. The product line contains bar soap, hand sanitiser, dish soap, and all purpose cleaner. Initally cleaning was for house-wives and generally women, however with the rise of dual-income houses and gender equality, men are stepping up to the plate in household chores. My design was based in gender-neutral themes with a thick/ tougher font. In the 21st century gender idenity is on a person-to-person basis and is not binary. More and more men are coming into their feminity without it takiing away from their idenities as men, thus I tried to market to a more gender-neutral crowd of men to reach a wider demographic. 


Blackbird Vineyard

Blackbird Vineyards was a project where I designed boxed organic wine of red, white, and rose. Blackbird Vineyards is for a younger demographic (30s or younger) or for those who are not serious wine drinkers. The design is illustrative and fun while also having the sophisticated, fancy look that non-experienced drinkers may associate wine with. 


Dada Booklet

This booklet quotes excerpts from Tristan Taza’s text. I tried to capture dadaism by making each page unique to the excerpt I chose- making every page an unexpecting pattern and it’s own separate entity in its own right. The only connecting pattern is their connection and encapsulation to dadaism- for dada has no rules , form, or expectations. It is uncoordinated and anti-conformatory which truly inspired me during my design process.


Busy Bees Informational Pamphlet

This pamhlet design takes readers through an excerpt from wikapedia explaining the history of beekeeping. I wanted the design to be fun whie realting to the texts on each page so I created different graphics like hives, bees, honey, jars, beekeepers,and smokers. These graphics were occasionaly reused as needs to tie the pamphelt together.

Hello, my name is Jacquelyn Singh, I am an illustrator and cartoonist based in New York. I am an Illustraor and cartoonist with a passion for graphic design. I believe being an all-rounder as an artist is the key to sucess!I like to write my own stories of my own original characters and illustrate the world around me. I've been inspired by manga and anime growing up, which further pushes me towards my dreams of publishing my own work.
